Pruitt Igoe Historic Marker
On Sunday, May 4, St Louis Place welcomed former residents of the infamous Pruitt Igoe Housing Project as they unveiled a historic marker at 20th and Cass Streets. The joy they share in being together is infectious, even as they shared information about their lawsuit seeking detailed information on chemicals sprayed over the complex by the Army in the early 1960s.
