Zion Church Complex Repurposed!

The Zion Lutheran church, school and rectory have been purchased by Makia Foundation. Foundation president Margaret Goldsmith introduced herself and said they have enjoyed being welcomed by many neighbors who pass by when they are working on the site.

Roy Jefferson, of My 180 Youth Program, also spoke. That program will occupy the school building. My 180 Youth has a successful 14 year history mentoring and empowering youth for successful futures. They are moving from their current location in Old North neighborhood. We are excited to have these new neighbors!
